New Author Portraits!

November 19th, 2007

Oscar WildeWe’ve just added three new Christian author portraits to our Cafe Press page: John Keats, Joseph Conrad, and Oscar Wilde! You can have their familiar faces printed on t-shirts, sweatshirts, mugs, aprons, mousepads, journals, postcards, and (my personal favorite) a beer stein.

Might make a good Christmas present for the family bibliophile. Of course, if you’re visiting this page, you probably ARE the family bibliophile. :)

Check ‘em out over here.

Idylls Press: publishing the Catholic imagination Idylls press (and Clan Murphy) is in the process of moving to beautiful Ashland, Oregon! We are very excited on many levels. Ashland is a mini-mecca for creative people in every area of the arts, and we doubt Idylls Press could find a home more conducive to fostering literary and publishing creativity.

But sorting and moving the possessions (and businesses!) of eight people is causing a few blips in our operations, and will continue to result in fewer website updates…sorry about that! (Order processing is always a priority, of course, so don’t hesitate to look to us to fulfill some of your Christmas shopping needs.) We expect the dust to settle in early 2008.

In the meantime, Idylls Press will have a table at the Southern Oregon Book and Author Fair in Ashland on Saturday, November 17th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Rogue River room of the Southern Oregon University Stevenson Union building, 1250 Siskiyou Boulevard in Ashland. (Here’s a map.) Besides having copies of all our books to sell, John Murphy will be bringing samples of his gorgeous illustrations for our upcoming Catholic Fiction Classics illustrated edition of Oscar Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Gray, due out before Christmas.
