Time to Celebrate!

December 22nd, 2007

On this beautiful Saturday before Christmas, we here at Idylls Press would like to thank all of you for your interest and support of our little project of bringing new and classic Catholic literature into print. It’s been a challenging year, what with our preparations to relocate to Ashland, Oregon, but we’ve been impressed by what we see as a growing awareness of the great value to our culture of promoting the Catholic literary voice, much neglected in the last few decades. We hope to continue this work with renewed energy in 2008, and find new ways of working with and supporting other individuals and groups with similar aims.

On a practical note, our office will be closed for the Christmas holidays until Wednesday, January 2. If you’re interested in ordering any of our books during that time, we encourage you to use our Idylls Press Amazon Page.

Merry Christmas, and a blessed New Year!

Still time to order for Christmas!

December 14th, 2007

Santa BardIdylls Press always ships FREE. That usually means Media Mail (otherwise we’d quickly go bust!), but “at this festive season of the year,” as Mr. Dickens would say, we ship via Priority Mail. That means if you order by Thursday, December 20, you should have your books in hand by Christmas Eve!

Also, don’t forget our Advent Special: With every order we send a complimentary The Mystery of Things mug, and if you order over $50 in merchandise we also send along a free autographed first edition hardcover of Debra Murphy’s novel!

See a list of our books here, or, if you already know what you want, order them from our Easy Order page or our Amazon.com web catalog.

Order your art prints here.

There might even still be time to order Christian Author portrait gifts from our Cafepress store, though you’d probably have to pay for expedited shipping.

And above all…Merry Christmas!
