buy local!
April 16th, 2008
Catholic Social Teaching (by way of the principle of subsidiarity) encourages us to buy local. In that spirit, Idylls Press encourages our readers to support their local Catholic and independent bookstores by ordering our books through them.
There are several ways to do this.
First, you can click here to find a bookstore in your area that we know carries Idylls Press books. (Right now they are few in number, but the list is growing.)
Or, you can order books from local indie bookstores affiliated with the American Booksellers Association’s IndieBound Program.
Or, if your favorite (especially Catholic) bookstore isn’t affiliated with the IndieBound program, as many aren’t, you can ask them to order our books through the wholesalers Ingram or Baker & Taylor. (For that, you’ll need the 13-digit ISBN number listed below with the books).
And by the way, this latter is a great ways to introduce your local booksellers to the best in new and classic Catholic literature published by Idylls Press!
To order onlline through the IndieBound program, click on the link for your preferred (paperback or hardcover) edition, then enter your zip code to find the bookstore closest to you.:
